Parking

Please allow a little extra time if you are coming for an appointment. There is a multi-storey car park behind the new Health Centre. Access to this is via the one way system at the rear of the hospital site. The car park will be available Monday to Friday 8.00am-8.00pm.

Prescriptions

We are encouraging patients to register for online prescription ordering. If you haven’t already registered please contact Reception after the 6th March and we can provide the necessary details to facilitate this.

We appreciate your patience and co-operation during the moving process.

Hearing Loss

We are keen to support those with hearing difficulties.

Please call in to the practice and ask for a hearing questionnaire to provide us with information on how to best help you with this.

Prescription Ordering Procedure

You can order all repeat prescriptions online. Please phone or call into the Practice to get an information leaflet and the code numbers needed to register.

Alternatively you can phone the prescription request line on 028 92 634519 and leave a message with your name, date of birth , the items you wish to order and the name of the chemist you would like your prescription to be sent to. Please allow 72 hours for prescriptions to be issued.

PRACTICE TIMETABLE

We have a limited number of telephone consultation appointments available. When these have been filled Doctors will only be able to deal with medical emergencies. These appointments will be released daily at 8.30am and 2.30pm.

The service on a Wednesday afternoon is for urgent matters only such as chest pain or breathlessness which will not wait until Thursday morning.

Antenatal Care

You can now self refer to maternity in Lagan Valley Hospital or the Ulster Hospital at

and they will arrange a booking in appointment for you.

The department of health recommend that all pregnant ladies take Folic Acid. You will need to contact a GP if there is a family history of Spina Bifida or your BMI is greater than 30 as the dose will be higher. You can find out your BMI at https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-weight/bmi-calculator/.
